Housekeeping Manager

Who are you?

You are an experienced and decisive leader in Housekeeping who consistently puts quality and guest experience first.


You know how to motivate teams, optimize processes, and maintain high hygiene and service standards. With your strong leadership skills and attention to detail, you ensure that both guests and employees experience a clean, safe, and well-organized environment.



You feel comfortable in a dynamic, international setting and know how to bring people and processes together to achieve consistent results.

What will you do?

As Housekeeping Manager, you are responsible for the daily operational management of the entire Housekeeping department within the resort, leading a team of approximately 40 employees and 5 supervisors.

You ensure efficient staff planning, safeguard the quality of cleaning and service processes, and continuously work on improving operations.


Your responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing Housekeeping supervisors and overseeing the full team, including Housekeepers, Housemen, and Laundry staff
  • Organizing and coordinating daily housekeeping operations
  • Creating and managing staff schedules based on occupancy and operational priorities
  • Monitoring and safeguarding hygiene, safety, and service standards through inspections
  • Preparing departmental plans and managing budgets
  • Monitoring productivity, costs, and operational performance
  • Analyzing operational and financial results and implementing improvements
  • Managing procurement of materials, linen, and guest supplies
  • Ensuring effective stock control and supplier performance 


What do we ask for?

You are a results-driven manager with a strong focus on quality and guest experience.



  • You have 3–5 years of experience in a managerial Housekeeping role
  • You know how to optimize and implement efficient work processes
  • You have a strong eye for quality and detail
  • You communicate clearly and lead in a motivating, connecting way
  • You are comfortable working in an international environment
  • Experience with a brand such as Hilton is an advantage
  • You are willing to work a fixed schedule from Tuesday to Saturday
  • You speak English and Spanish; Papiamentu and Dutch are a plus
