What will you do?
As Chef, you are responsible for the culinary standards and daily operation of the Delfins kitchen. You lead the kitchen brigade and ensure consistent quality across our food offering.
One of the key concepts within the resort is Café Koló, our colourful and approachable restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Its concept is built around simplicity, quality and variety. Fresh food that is accessible, easy to share and easy to enjoy.
You combine creativity with strong operational management. You develop menus, coach your team, monitor costs and processes, and work closely with the F&B Manager to further strengthen our food offering.
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with a preferred start date as soon as possible.
Your responsibilities include:
• Developing and refining varied and approachable menus
• Ensuring consistent taste, presentation and quality
• Leading, coaching and developing the kitchen brigade
• Managing schedules and the daily kitchen operation
• Overseeing purchasing, inventory and supplier relationships
• Monitoring food costs, margins and budgets while reducing waste
• Ensuring compliance with HACCP, hygiene and food safety standards
• Translating relevant food trends into dishes that suit our guests and concepts
• Advising the F&B Manager on product development and commercial opportunities
Who are you
You are a practical and experienced Chef who brings structure and calm to a busy kitchen. You set clear standards, motivate your team and continuously look for ways to improve the operation and guest experience.
You have:
• Relevant experience as a Chef in a hotel, resort or busy restaurant
• Proven leadership and coaching skills
• Experience leading a team with different cultural backgrounds
• A creative, entrepreneurial and solution oriented mindset
• A strong eye for quality, consistency and detail
• Experience with purchasing, food costs and inventory management
• The ability to remain calm and maintain an overview under pressure
• Good knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
