This initiative is dedicated to revitalizing the island's ecosystem and promoting biodiversity. Together, we are committed to making Bonaire greener and more sustainable for generations to come.

Planting 7,500 trees annually

At Delfins, we do everything to revitalize our guests, and we feel the same responsibility to revitalize Bonaire's ecosystem. With Bloom Back Bonaire, we aim to plant an annual 7,500 native trees, a significant step towards restoring Bonaire's natural beauty. Chris Opgenoort, General Manager of Delfins, highlights the importance of guest engagement in this initiative:

Johan van Blerk, founder of Tera Barra, expresses his enthusiasm for the partnership: "Tera Barra wants to make Bonaire green again within one generation, and this collaboration brings us closer to achieving that goal. Together with Delfins and our volunteers, we are witnessing nature's resurgence, with various plant and insect life returning to the island."
