At Delfins Beach Resort Bonaire, we welcome our guests with open arms and help them embrace our resort

Maintenance Employee – Electrical Specialization

and 

Maintenance Employee – Air Conditioning Specialization

WHO ARE YOU?

As part of the Maintenance team, you are responsible for carrying out repairs and maintenance across all rooms, facilities, and buildings on our property, including restaurants, the gym, laundry, offices, and dive shop. You carry out your work with enthusiasm, ensuring that Delfins guests can fully enjoy their well-deserved vacation

WAT GA JE DOEN?

You’re the hero who ensures everything at our resort runs smoothly and safely for our guests. For the Electrical Maintenance Employee, the focus is on all things electrical, such as pulling cables, installing and connecting outlets, and fixing light fixtures. You respond quickly to resolve malfunctions, allowing our guests to relax without a care.


For the Air Conditioning Maintenance Employee, the focus is, of course, on our AC units. You know exactly where to start when issues arise, perform regular maintenance, replace circuit boards, and refill refrigerant—you always keep a cool head!


In addition, you’ll also take on various allround maintenance tasks.


As an Allround Maintenance Employee, you’re skilled in cleaning and repairing air conditioners, locks, and sanitary facilities, handling a wide range of repairs, working confidently with various (electrical) tools, and you’re willing to give things a fresh coat of paint when needed.


Teamwork comes naturally to you, and your motto? Don’t complain, take action! 

You’re the Fantastic Fixer we’re looking for!

WHAT DO WE ASK?

  • Electrical: you have an MBO-level education or relevant work experience in electrical engineering or general maintenance technology
  • Air Conditioning: you have an MBO-level education or relevant work experience in refrigeration technology
  • Electrical: you have experience working on electrical installations and carrying out maintenance and repairs
  • Air Conditioning: you have experience working on air conditioning systems and performing maintenance and repairs
  • You are handy with other tasks, such as plumbing, carpentry, or painting
  • You are able to work under time pressure
  • You are an enthusiastic employee with a strong sense of responsibility and open communication skills
  • You are willing to work rotating shifts, including weekends, and to be on-call during evenings and weekends
