Jonnie & Thérèse Boer, the management for our beach restaurant Brass Boer, have recently visited on Bonaire to oversee the progress of their creation. Their new restaurant is located at Delfins Beach Resort. The restaurant’s name and branding reflects their image and vision. Brass Boer will feature a welcoming and casual experience in a unique oceanfront location.
In Zwolle, The Netherlands, Jonnie and Thérèse manage restaurant De Librije in Zwolle. They are taking their culinary experience to Bonaire. Their vision is for a restaurant with a focus on amazing food, artful presentation; creative cuisines with a local influence. Their new venture will no doubt put Delfins on Bonaire’s culinary map.
Bonaire, known for having some talented chefs, will have another wonderful talent by the name of Stefan Martens. Educated at Restaurant De Librije in Zwolle, Stefan worked in Curacao at the stunning property, Baoase Luxury Resort, where he served as a sous-chef. Delfins Resort is excited to welcome Stefan to oversee the culinary team.
Presently, Stefan and Jonnie Boer are in Zwolle creating the menu and restaurant plan. While on island, they looked at the local food sources for inspiration. One inspired dish includes the local Cadushy cactus which was made into a soup. The exciting menu will be unveiled at the opening of Delphins, the first of November.
